Project Title:  Furniture Fabrication of Schools in Bo district

Target Beneficiaries: Pupils and Teachers of 3 Primary Schools and 1 Junior Secondary School in 4 

                                       Chiefdoms in Bo district.

Project Outcomes:  592 sets of furniture (Pupils benches, Tables and Chairs) supplied to the schools in

                                    question.

Project Title: Reconstruction/Rehabilitation of Primary and Junior Secondary Schools in Bo District

Target Beneficiaries: 2074 Pupils (1263 boys and 811 girls) and 82 Teachers  in nine chiefdoms

Project Location: Jiama Bongo, Niawa Lenga, Bagbo, Kakua, Lugbu, Tikonko, Selenga, Valunia  and  

                               Komboya Chiefdoms, Bo District.

Project Duration: 5 years

Project Budget: Le662,307,739

Project Outcomes: 

1. Reconstruction of three 6- classrooms, staffroom, an Office, Store buildings, two 3-seater toilets and one hand pump water well for three Junior Secondary Schools in three chiefdoms (Jiama Bongo, Niawa Lenga and Bagbo) in Bo district.
2.  Reconstruction of one 3- classrooms, staffroom, an Office, Store buildings, two 3-seater toilets and one hand pump water well for seven Primary in Kakua Chiefdom in Bo district.
3. 1158 sets of school furniture including sets of core text books provided for teachers and pupils in three Junior Secondary Schools and seven Primary Schools in nine Chiefdoms in Bo District.
4. Untrained and unqualified teachers trained in 10 schools in nine Chiefdoms in Bo District.
5. School Management Committees (SMCs) formed and trained in 10 schools in nine Chiefdoms in Bo District.

Project Title: Rehabilitation of Monghere Community Centre

Target Beneficiaries: 13 Ex-combatants, 13 community youths, 12 Police personnel deployed in the 

                                       area, plus 3000 community members.

Project Location: Valunia Chiefdom, Bo District.

Project Duration: 8 weeks

Project Outcomes:

1. Community centre rehabilitated.
2. 3-seater VIP latrines constructed.

Funding Agency: Emergency Recovery Support Fund of the Government of Sierra Leone through The 

                              National Commission for Reconstruction, Resettlement and Rehabilitation (now 

                              NaCSA).

Project Title: Reconstruction and Rehabilitation of the Farm Craft Centre

Target Beneficiaries: 50 Blind male adults, 50 Ex-Trainees (40 male, 10 female), 10 Blind adolescents (6  

                                      male, 4 female)

Project Location: Kenema district.

Project Duration: 7 months

1. 2 male and 1 female dormitory with 3 toilets, main building complex housing an Office, classroom, dining hall and kitchen, 3 staff quarters plus toilet rehabilitated.
